Orthobiologic repairing injections for scalp and hair rejuvenation offer an advanced regenerative therapy for men or women experiencing hair loss or scalp damage. The injections help rejuvenate the area, and promote hair growth. This process can also be useful as a support to growth after a hair transplant.
The procedure uses the patient’s own blood components to help rebuild damaged scalp tissue. Blood is extracted into a sterile tube (just like during a standard blood test) and is then spun in a centrifugal device. This motion creates a platelet-rich concentration.
When this solution is injected into the area requiring treatment, it creates a fivefold concentration of bioactive protein-rich platelets to help initiate and accelerate hair and scalp tissue repair and regeneration. In effect, the platelets are enabling the scalp to repair itself, by using and amplifying the natural properties of blood cells to heal damaged skin.
Orthobiologic injections can also be used to treat joint or muscle damage such as torn tendons, ligaments and muscles. It’s especially effective for accelerating the healing process of sports injuries and can be targeted to treat tendinitis and easing arthritis-related pain.
Hale Health also makes use of Exosomes, small sacs produced naturally by skin cells. Exosomes treatment helps with stimulating skin regeneration and hair growth, as the small sacs or vesicles they are filled with proteins, lipids and nucleic acids.

"Orthobiologic injections are a potent infusion of your own protein-rich platelets concentrated in the area requiring healing and regeneration. Basically we use your blood’s natural healing properties to repair damaged ligaments, bone and muscle and to regenerate areas such as the scalp."

Frequently Asked Questions
Scalp and Hair Rejuvenation injections are absolutely safe, since they only make use of the patient’s own blood cells, and are therefore very unlikely to prompt any kind of negative reaction. The procedure is non-surgical and has only minimal side effects, such as a temporary reddening of the face which soon fades.
Since the procedure involves injections, some discomfort is possible, but this should be minimal and can be addressed with standard painkillers. Most patients report very little pain, if any.
The procedure takes around 45-60 minutes to complete. Patients are advised to have 3 rounds of orthobiologic repairing injections with 4-6 weeks between each round.
The recovery time for orthobiologic repairing injections varies for each patient but is usually very short, with most patients able to return to normal hair-related activities after just 3 or 4 weeks. Any residual pain from the procedure should be virtually gone in the same period, although you may still feel discomfort for a few months.
The treated area should continue to look natural after the procedure, with any signs of treatment virtually undetectable.
